The Addiction To Gaming

In a modern world new problems and issues rise to meet a new generation. In this and future generations the addiction to gaming is becoming a wide spread phenomenon with it becoming an unofficial disorder. As video games become more complex detailed, and compelling to a growing international audience, it becomes clear that games have become a staple in entertainment. The ever updating graphics, complex stories, and strategic challenges are the main causes for this fonder outlook at gaming, as this medium of entertainment has made its audience grind and play a growing amount of hours to achieve greater satisfaction.
However, it is noted that most gamers do don’t have the drive to become addicts but rather the growing identity of gaming has evolved the compulsive nature of most gamers. With this in mind roughly 15% of gamers have symptoms of addiction, with further growth as games and gaming culture becoming more accessible to the public.
This blog hope to inform and illustrate what gaming addiction has become and is in the presence of the modern society.
