Man dies after 7-day computer game session

Yes. It’s a true story and no joke. 28th February 2007, over the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, a 23 stone (146kg), 26-year-old man named Zhang collapses in a heap over his computer, body twitching, and body in a heart attack, which proved fatal. While his unhealthy weight can be attributed to his death, doctors state his unhealthy, unmoving state, proved too straining on his heart. 

Zhang’s uncle stated: 
"He was young, in good health,” his uncle said. “He wasn’t ill, just a bit fat. Who would have thought it could have ended up like this?”

Immediately after reading this quote, one must question the delusion of this quote. 
Across the East of Asia, serious gaming addictions are becoming of national interest, as the governments of their respective countries intervene, with the foresight of an epidemic. 
The gaming scene in China has been recognized as many as an integral part to life, as Zhang’s teacher justifies gaming’s role 

“There are only two options: TV or computer,” she said. “What else can I do in the holiday - all the markets, karaoke bars and cafes are closed?”
